Providing Drilling Services Since 2008
Envirotech Drilling LLC is a Winnemucca Nevada based drilling contractor that focuses on slim-hole reverse circulation (RC) drilling. We work for mining and exploration companies, mostly doing exploration drilling work. We have some licensed drillers and have been taking on more well work recently. The company was founded in 2008 and has developed a reputation for delivering competent RC drilling service at a fair price.
Envirotech Drilling has grown rapidly in the last several years and has enjoyed being fully employed for the last few years. We have some availability in 2024.
BRIAN MIKELSON
From the late 1980’s until 2005, Brian Mikelson drilled in mineral exploration across the western United States, mostly in the goldfields. For the next two years, he drilled and supervised municipal water well drilling and pump rig operations in Hawaii. During 2007-2008, Brian had the opportunity to consult abroad in both minerals’ exploration and water well drilling operations. He also spent several years working for Halliburton/Baroid IDP in both drilling fluids and water treatment. In June of 2019, Brian’s love of Nevada and the incredible opportunity to help grow Envirotech Drilling brought him back.
SHAWN MIKELSON
Shawn Mikelson
From 1988 thru 1993 worked for Eklund Drilling, Nevada based.
From 1993 thru 2007 worked in family owned livestock and construction business. Went back to drilling in 2008. Joined Envirotech in 2010.
STEVE NEILSEN
From the late 1960’s to 1984 worked with father at Sam Neilsen and Son as an excavation contractor, drill sites, road building and blasting. From 1984 to 2007 owned and ran SM&S Neilsen as an excavation contractor, trucking and blasting. From mid-2007 to 2015 was partnered with Eric Barnard then after Eric passed away I was a partner with Brian and Shawn Mikelson in Envirotech Drilling doing exploration drilling excavation and blasting.
